Moore to Help Expand Uses of 468 Insider to Bring the Presence Economy to More Communities
Sept 12, 2018 – Today, 468 Communications announced that Jacob Moore has joined the company to support the growth in adoption of 468 Insider, the mobile app platform used to reward people for engaging in their communities. As account manager, Moore will help existing clients in the Pacific Northwest and Canada get more out of their 468 Insider apps; and he will spearhead uses of the platform for new types of clients in new regions – ranging from craft brewing associations to military bases.
“Jacob has the perfect mix of creativity, strategy and client focus to help clients get the most out of 468 services,” said Tim Fry, founder and president of 468 Communications. “Well before we discussed his coming on board, Jacob had an idea very similar to 468 Insider; this is a natural fit for everybody.”
Moore joins 468 as adoption of 468 Insider continues to gain momentum among an international client base. To-date, clients have launched their own apps in communities across Washington State, British Columbia and even France. Economic development and shop local organizations have used their apps to drive traffic to locally owned businesses; schools have used their apps to create deeper engagement with students in history and social studies; and industry associations such as the BC Craft Brewers Guild are starting to launch apps aimed at creating more incentives to visit member businesses.

Before joining 468 Communications, Moore was a member of the In-House Marketing team at Worldmark By Wyndham, where he focused on member services and maintained a top performing sales record. A native of Washington State, he graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
